You keep me hoping, wishing, praying. On tenterhooks, I’m swaying.
What’s your answer?
What’s it gonna be?
I’m over here dangling, oh my god I’m clinging, hands bloodied and stinging
Why are you taking so long?
What do you need to see?
Slipping off this tether, I can’t hold on forever, put me out of my misery
Is it gonna be her…please choose me.

Without you
I sparkle
Without you
I shine
Without you
No sorrow
Without you
I’m fine
Bet that pisses you off…
Daily Prompt: Sparkle
Finish Line
There’s only One-Way to live, only One-Way to be, only one road to follow, only one place you’re free. One-way or no way, simple as that, the One-Way and right way is right where you’re at. The One-Way will twist you and the One-Way will turn you, the fire inside will scorch you and burn you. Staying One-Way means you will reach its end, but without the One-Way middle, you’ll never learn how to bend. One-Way or no way, upside or down, without the path of the One-Way, you’re sure to lose ground. The One-Way is simple, the One-Way is true, the One-Way is me patiently waiting for you.
Paradise Bitten
There lies the apple that stopped her heart
Gone a chosen life with its nasty black art
Because the witch demands love and beauty and price
A man was required and thought a kiss should suffice
She never wanted to fall in love, especially with a fool
But the price for freedom was to live under his rule
Never asking to be a bride or a wife
She took up her skirts and ran for her life
The witch was careless and left the apple behind
And with one big bite, a death note was signed
Freedom comes in the ways we demand
And by sleeping forever she chose her dreamland
